 Красивый документально-художественный фильм на основе реальных событий об индейцах Xingu, до сих пор живущих в джунглях Амазонии как и тысячу лет назад почти не соприкасаясь с современной цивилизацией. На фоне этой первобытной идиллии разворачиваются две сюжетных линии: история любви молодого кинооператора приехавшего снять фильм об Амазонии к местной красавице и проблема вырубки древних амазонских лесов. В общем страсти бурлят - защитники леса самоотверженно воюют за их спасение и про любовь тоже не забыто...))
Nicolas is a young adventurer filmmaker. He arrives in an Indian village in the heart of the Rio Xingu valley with the aim of shooting a documentary there about an ancestral tribal ceremony, Kuarup.
He immediately falls in love with Luacema, the daughter of Chief Ayupu. Watched over by Roberto, the director of the Toa Toari reserve, Nicolas and Ruben, his guide as ridiculous as he is incompetent, settle in the village. In order to get closer to the woman he secretly loves, Nicolas slowly integrates into the villagers’ daily life. After being initiated into local customs, he is made aware of the threat weighing on his new friends and the woman he loves: deforestation.
Ayupu then drags him into their struggle against loggers, responsible for the devastation of the forests that date back to the Palaeozoic era. After several intimidation tactics against Olympio Ferra and his men, Ayupu realizes that Nicolas’s camera is a formidable weapon that could be put to use for their cause.
They leave together for Rio de Janeiro where they hope to be able to impress upon younger generations the danger hanging over their environment and their future.
Nicolas finds the heroic strength to transform his unrequited love for Luacema into a desire to protect her people. This Amazonian adventure gives a meaning to his life and propels him into a fight against ignorance and reckless destruction around the world.

Девятилетний Абель должен быть переведен из детской психиатрической лечебницы для девочек, куда попал ввиду странного поведения и вспышек насилия, в детскую психиатрическую больницу Мехико, но мать уговаривает врачей отпустить его домой с регулярным посещением врачей. Она уверена, что дома ему будет лучше. Молчание и замкнутость мальчика настораживает всю семью; они не знают, как общаться, что можно ожидать, если в голове Абеля перепутаны действительность и фантазии. И вот однажды утром, заняв место отсутствующего отца, мальчик начинает вести себя, как мужчина в доме, как глава семьи. Мать в его представлении становится женой, а сестра и маленький брат становятся дочерью и сыном. Знания, полученные в результате самообразования, дают Абелю возможность проверять домашние работы сестры, самому быть неординарным в школе, помогать по дому. Он даже принимает участие в празднике в честь Дня Отца, пытается, как он сам это представляет, установить сексуальные отношения со своей матерью. Никто не противится. The story follows Abel (Christopher Ruíz-Esparza) a nine-year-old boy whose violent outbursts, self-harming and refusal to speak have landed him in a women’s psychiatric ward. Having already been in care for two years, Abel’s condition is neither improving nor degrading and so the hospital makes the decision that he must be transferred to a children’s hospital for permanent residence in distant Mexico City unless his condition remains stable enough that he may return home. Abel’s mother Cecilia (Karina Gidi) desperate to stop the transfer begs his doctor to let him return home on a trial period with regular medical visits to assess his progress and if things go well, to eventually let him stay at home for good. Abel’s doctor bends to the will of Cecilia, largely due to some unrequited love issues and allows Abel to stay at home on a trial period. His return to the family home causes an uncomfortable presence and while Cecilia does her best to get Abel settled back into the home and convince her other two children, Abel’s older sister Selene (Geraldine Alejandra) and his younger brother Paúl (Gerardo Ruíz-Esparza) that the best thing to do is not to upset him and to treat all his behaviour as normal, it is evident that even she at times struggles to take her own advice and accept him. Abel’s continual voluntary silence is met with unease when suddenly one morning Abel steps up to the paternal podium and starts acting like the man of the house (despite being only nine years-old) and displaying odd father-like behaviours. The family’s initial shock dissipates over time as they begin to grow used to his unusual behaviour and find that they even benefit from it, bringing them all closer together. Abel’s fatherly actions often include helping around the home with DIY, scheduled homework sessions with Selene and Paúl and even attending the school’s Father’s Day celebration and vetting Selene’s new boyfriend. Things begin to look up for Abel’s return to a somewhat skewed normality, when suddenly one morning Abel wakes up to find their estranged biological father Anselmo (José María Yazpik) in the house, supposedly back from working in the USA after three years of no communication. The family is thrown into disarray with Anselmo’s return and with the trial deadline creeping up, how will Abel cope? Will he step up to the plate and be the man he claims he is? Or will his innocence take over and reveal him as the child he really is?

Germany, WWII: 10-year old Dagmar has just lost her beloved twin brother Doug and her family through a bomb attack. Together with a young girl who worked in the bakery of Dagmar's parents they escape to Bavaria and find shelter at some far relatives of Dagmar's family. The little girl just doesn't feel comfortable in the strange family but soon finds a good friend: Laurent, a 17-year old French alien employee. Laurent is tormented by August, the "head of the family", but cannot defend himself because as soon as he causes a conflict he will be sent into an approved school in France which is even worse. Dagmar and Laurent become very close and become almost like brother and sister, they are all they have and Dagmar even falls a bit in love with Laurent. One day August sees how Laurent hugs Dagmar, he provokes a conflict and at the end Laurent is sent back to France...
